Griffis ll started Cold Harbor Building Company to create a modern, dynamic, proactive and technically savvy company that was solidly founded on the small-town principles of honor, trust and service. The company’s growth has been fueled by the addition of dedicated, respected and like-minded individuals who share the same vision and take pride in the wide range of new construction and renovation projects Cold Harbor Building Company has completed.

Our Executive Team
Dale W. Griffis II
Founder & President
As the founder and president of Cold Harbor Building Company, Dale has built the company into one of Northeast Ohio’s leading contractors. With over three decades of construction experience in field construction, his work ranges from maintenance and repair facilities, office and administration buildings, schools, colleges and other civic buildings.
His primary role is to actively work in the clients’ best interests throughout the duration of the project. He carefully monitors quality control and provides timely issue resolution to guarantee every client’s job satisfaction. He ensures that all employees follow the guiding principle of the company, “Treat others like you would like to be treated”.
Jason Balint, P.E.
Executive Vice President
As Executive Vice President of Cold Harbor Building Company’s Civil Division, Jason oversees every phase of water, wastewater and industrial projects from pre-construction through closeout. Jason started in the construction business in 2004 working at one of the country’s largest wastewater treatment plants. He joined Cold Harbor Building Company in 2011 and worked as the lead project manager for wastewater and industrial projects.
Ben Griffis, P.E.
Vice President
As Vice President, Ben ensures that the owner is involved every step of the way to guarantee that their needs will be met long after the project is complete. He specializes in government and commercial/industrial projects and is a critical member of the design/build team as the Constructability Reviewer. He started in the construction industry in 2009 and joined Cold Harbor Building Company in 2012. He is a LEED Green Associate.
Jon Balint
General Field Superintendent
As Cold Harbor Building Company’s general field superintendent, Jon supervises all day-to-day activities in the field and visits every job site several times a week to review schedule, work force and safety. Before joining Cold Harbor Building Company in 2002, he owned and operated various companies specializing in field carpentry and interior build outs of commercial spaces.
Vicki Seredich
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Vicki manages the areas of finance, accounting, compliance and human resources for Cold Harbor Building Company. She joined the company in 2020 with over 20 years of diverse accounting experience including construction, service industry, global business-to-business software in commodity markets and traded diversified holding companies.
